The following criteria will be followed in rejecting returns and refusing credit:
- Products which are physically damaged that has cracked components or damage to any circuit boards.
- Products which are improperly packaged and caused physical damaged.
- Packages affixed with counterfeit labels or affixed with labels exhibiting tampering.
- Products with any certification labels or barcode label removed.
- Products with SERIAL NUMBER which does not match SERIAL NUMBER invoice. (Memory-up maintains serial number tracking)
- DAMAGE: Any dents, scratches, defacement or abuse of base casting.
In the event that the product you are returning does NOT meet the requirements described in this document, we will photograph the items and packaging indicating the reason for the denial of the return. The items will then be returned to you.
Shipping and Handling Charges are non-refundable
Although you may not have been charged for shipping on your original order, the actual cost of the original shipping will be deducted from the amount credited. We will not refund the original freight charge or the freight charge for the return. Refunds for items purchased using free shipping will be refunded the item purchase price less original shipping and handling cost, typically $3.00 - $15.00 depending on the shipping method.
Returning a defective item
Unless otherwise specified, we gladly accept DEFECTIVE EXCHANGES on products within 30 days of original invoice date. Provided you have contacted Memory-Up and been issued an RMA#. After the 30 days of the original invoice date, we can still exchange for the EXACT same item. Memory-up shall have sole discretion as to the credit method. We may issue a credit, ship a replacement product, exchange or we may repair the item and return it to you. ALL NON-DEFECTIVE RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A 15% RE-STOCKING FEE and such returns will be for store credit or refund at Memory-up's sole discretion within 30 days of original invoice date.
Cross-Ship Replacement Agreement
In the event that Memory-Up Cross-ship the replacement first before receiving the RMA item, Memory-Up would ask for customer's verbal agreement to send back the RMA item within 14 days after receiving the Cross-ship Replacement. Customer agrees with the Cross-Ship Replacement Agreement but does not return the RMA item would result the charge from credit card of the value of the RMA item.
Crediting Your Account
Credit will be issued within two business days of receiving your return. All refunds for credit will be issued to the credit card account that appears on the original invoice.
Please note that your financial institution may take up to 10 additional days from the date we issue the credit to post it to your actual account. Questions regarding this should be directed to your financial institution. When returning an item paid for by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to you within 10 business days from the time we receive your return.
Discontinued Products
Items discontinued by the manufacturers will be exchange the parts with same specifications due to the limited availability.
Request for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number
To request an RMA number, simply go to our website and open an online RMA request with us. You can open the RMA case at:

Your RMA number should be issued within two business days if all the submitted information are verified. Returns will not be accepted at our warehouse without a valid Return Authorization (RMA) number. RMA numbers will expire after 30 days. Any return we receive without an RMA number will be documented and returned to you at your cost.
Ship And Insure Your Return
We STRONGLY recommend that you FULLY insure the package you are returning. THIS IS FOR YOUR PROTECTION, in the event the package is lost or damaged in transit. We suggest that you use a "traceable carrier" that can provide you with "proof of delivery". Memory-up shall not be responsible for items returned that are lost or damaged in transit. Postage and handling charges, to our warehouse will be paid by you, the customer, and is non-refundable.
Shipping Policy
U.S Postal Service Shipping Method:
Title and Risk of Loss Agreement for United States Postal Service Shipping Method
Orders shipped via U.S. Postal Service will be insured by Memory-Up for up to $100.00 with tracking number. All claim issue arise from shipping would follow Memory-Up's Term and Policy and can take up to 15-20 business days for Memory-Up to process it.
UPS Shipping Method:
Title to and risk of loss on all items passes from Memory-up to the customer upon shipment from our facility. Memory-up's liability for delivery shall cease, and title and all risk of loss or damage shall pass to UPS. All claim issues arise from shipping would follow UPS's Term and Policy and can take up to 3-8 business days for UPS to process it.
Alaska/Hawaii shipping rate would be higher due to UPS shipping charges. Thus we recommend U.S.P.S Priority shipping method for Alaska/Hawaii customers. Please note that Memory-Up reserves the right to make any necessary changes for the shipping method for our orders.
Warranty Information and Limitations
There are no other express warranties or conditions respecting the equipment. Implied warranties, if any, are limited to the duration of the express warranty provided herein. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts so that the foregoing limitation may not apply to you. When requesting warranty services, you MUST first request for an RMA number and follow the return policy guidelines.
Memory
We will provide advance replacement of defective parts if notified prior to 30 days after original order, otherwise defective parts need to be returned to us first, then we will ship replacement parts. All our memory modules are warranted to be free from electrical or manufacturer defects for the life of the original owner. This warranty is void and does not apply if the memory module has been modified, abused or subject to static or electrical charges. Memory-up is not responsible for damage to equipment, property, program loss or costs associated with computer or data recovery. Memory-up will not reimburse consumers for installation or service charges for any reason. Lifetime is defined as the lifetime of the product on the market. Outdated technology is not covered by lifetime warranty if the item is no longer available on the common market as a new product.
Limitation of Liability
Expert knowledge/professional installation of the memory is recommended but not required. In no event shall Memory-UP or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits.
